When I started Beso, my primary goal was to provide safe, natural products at a reasonable price to my customers. This is still true, however as my family household practices have become more and more environmentally sound, so too has this become a major focus in how I run Beso. I am proud of how far Beso has grown as an eco-warrior business and continue to find new ways to increase my commitment to saving our Planet wherever I can, in every single aspect of my business. As far as I’m concerned, no act is too small and every eco-effort counts!
Here are some of the ways Beso is showing its commitment to being clean and green:
1.       Beso products are all natural so anything that is released into the environment during manufacturing is safe and won’t harm our eco-systems
2.       Oil waste is disposed of thoughtfully, without flushing into drains, which causes blocks in our waterways
3.       Natural cleaning products are used in the lab and the studio
4.       All Beso containers are refillable or recyclable and every customer is offered the opportunity to become part of the Beso refill scheme
5.       Packaging is kept to a minimum – no unnecessary plastic, boxes or labels here!
6.       No plastic postal bags for Beso – labels are printed in our office and products are sent out in brown paper bags
7.       Beso products have never and will never be tested on animals
8.       Where possible, ingredients are sourced locally and nationally to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels
I hope that Beso can help make a difference in the world and will continue to improve my environmental practices as my business grows.
